I agree. The least expensive eGPU chassis from Sonnet is $400. For that price, you can buy an IBM clone desktop. For that price, you might as well buy one. Most people aren't going to spend $400 on the chassis. I certainly wouldn't be willing to spend that much just on that part of an eGPU setup. $400 is the most I'm willing to spend on an eGPU as a whole, not just for that one item.
