  1. @Torsten Sure it would. But most games do not need that much GHz. I limited it so I will get a stable boost! E.g. in GTA V my clock speed/boost was just bouncing up and down because the CPU was throttling because of heat. I felt like I could feel that in the game.

Lowering the voltage will make the CPU run more efficient. All CPUs are different and Intel is just setting a safe voltage that all CPUs can run at. Most can run with much less voltage and with that, are much more efficient. -> Less heat, less noise, higher boost clocks.

This is very interessting due to the bad cooling a MacBook provides.

  2. All that we know about Bizon is posted here: https://www.techinferno.com/index.php?/forums/topic/7921-rip-off-alert-bizon-box-2-is-an-overpriced-modified-akitio-thunder2-enclosure/&page=1

    To summarize it:

    - It is based on stock hardware

    - all parts are available on the market

    - Bizon only drilles some holes and addes the cable/adapter

Since your MacBook has only a dual core CPU, TB1 and a low res display you should be fine with a GTX 960 or max GTX 970.

Building and installing the eGPU can be achieved with the help in this forum.

Take a look for this parts:

    - AKiTiO Thunder2

    - EVGA GTX 960 (the one with only one fan)

    - Dell DA-2 220W PSU

  3. Imho the first picture in this thread is all you really need: https://www.techinferno.com/index.php?/forums/topic/7377-220w-dell-da-2-ac-adapter-discussion/

12V on the one hand and ground on the other. Make a connection between ground and remote and the Dell DA-2 starts.

All you need is a 8-Pin PCIe extension cable, rewire it (because yellow on the 8-Pin PCIe plug doesn't match the 12V of the Dell DA-2) and connect 6-Pins and the barrel plug.

  4. Internal display might be possible with this guide: https://www.techinferno.com/index.php?/forums/topic/6838-guide-enabling-intel-iris-pro-hd5200-in-win81-on-15-macbook-pro-with-gt750m/

But external display makes much more sense with such a powerful GPU!

There are multiple people with running eGPUs setups and a 750m in their MacBook.

2.5GHz is good. The CPU will boost itself to higher speeds. You might want to consider using Intel XTU in Windows to lower the CPUs voltage and maybe even limit the turbo to sth like 3GHz.
