It would depend what 3rd gen i7 you are running. Some only support 1333 though most ram will downclock. I have been very fond of the GSKILL ram for quite some time. Save a few bucks too.

I have several clients that do design work that this will come in very handy for. I am a bootcamp "master" so to speak and I am going to play with this setup. Sounds really good.

This is very interesting... Both the Dell XPS l502x and 702x have the slot needed to harbor the pe4h adapter. So what would you think the fastest card you could theoretically run?

I write a lot of my own music, but if I were to choose, I likes me some dubstep.
