  1. this bios works fine and fast: M14x_R2_925base_1100boost_1350mem but when I tried this one: [M14x R2]_A03 - 650m_@_935-default_1100-boost_1200-mem very weird behaviour. Maybe memory clocks are the problem in your bios?
  2. tried 2nd of the 2 bios and when my laptop restarted I was getting very jerky mouse and slow performance on everything?
  3. excellent. Big improvement on R1 Nvidia gt650m Is excellent but limited on over clocking i believe because of lack of proper driver support at the moment And the R1 i had overclocked at gpu core 825mhz so i want to see what the new gt650m is capable of. i think it will be quite capable as its build on 28nm so shouldn't draw alot of heat
  4. well i would be interested to get a modded bios as long as it doesnt brick my laptop :-) Only had it 3 days!!!

  7. nvidia system tools seemed to be giving me issues. seems much more reliable now i am using evga precision but i will test drive more tonight. ps i am using a03 modded bios and running 840 core sync shader and memory 1020. i cant be arsed to take the whole thing apart to change the thermal paste hehe. maybe will get a laptop cooler
  8. ok tried with evga precision and it seems more reliable at 840 and 1020 but i will need further testing. to change the thermal paste is it just as simple as take the bottom panel off and the heatsink?
  9. also do any you guys use laptop cooling pad or have changed thermal paste?
  10. i dont think its faulty as when i have the dell default bios i can overlock to 800mhz core linked shaders and 1080 on the memory. i will try evga precision and let you know results. also any one overclocked the cpu and memory in bios?
  11. strange when i run games at 800-840 it crashes with nvidia blue screen. this is with any of the modded bios`s what are you running all settings at? ie core, memory /shader and what are you overclocking with as i am using nvidia system tools. could this be the problem?
