So i used Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0 to make a backup of my bios and used SVL7's biosfixer2.0 to modify it. I now have a v2xxmod.bin file, however i have no idea what to do from here. How am i supposed to flash it? using fptw64.exe? if so, how do i do that because whatever i type in it, it gives me error 200. Thank you!

@svl7 nothing happens when i run the .bat file as admin on command prompt... Is it supposed to generate a backup of the BIOS inside the folder that i have extracted the biosflashing tool into?

yeah i have a 3.07 BIOS and i was wondering if a modified version of that is in the works so that i don't have to downgrade to 2.07. I have an intel 7260AC adapter and it won't work with this current BIOS because of the whitelist...

Yes it is completely blocked. I have the y510p and it won't allow for installing new wireless cards.

I have the same problem.. i have a y510p as well and i bought an intel 7260 ac from newegg and when i installed it into my system, it said that i have an unauthorized wireless card and that i should turn off the system and remove it... I called lenovo and they claimed that there was no such thing as a whitelist...

Is a bios Whitelist removal required for all lenovo machines if i want to upgrade the wireless card?
