So who here has actually implemented this mod on a Lenovo y510p? what kind of results did you see in for example various benchmarking test? Was there any noticeable improvement and is it across the board or in very particular areas? I realize the only way to truly fine miss out if the tested on my machine, but I am just trying to get as much insight as possible before I go messing around with stuff I have very limited knowledge in. Also, is it still the case that if you have updated, as I have recently, to the 3. 05 version that there's no way of flashing the mod? I noticed there was a flashback option on my current BIOS. Can I revert to the old and is it still necessary at this point in time to do so or has there been any updates that is included in the current version? I realize I could probably find the answers to many of these questions scrolling through these forms but I have limited time and this is kind of a hobby so any straightforward answers are appreciated.

has anyone noticed any real / tangible benefits (performance wise) when they flashed this mod? What kind of improvements can I expect to see? I am a "semi-newb" when it comes to things like this and wouldnt want to risk anything botching my system for nothing ya know? As I understand it is supposed to allow you to change your wifi card if desired. when it says "hidden BIOS menus unlocked" what exactly does am i unlocking? "-VBIOS tweaked for more performance and better tuning possibilities"... what is "v-bios" (virtual?) and what kind of performance and tuning possibilities are we talking here? New to the forum so please feel free to re-direct me if I am posting in the wrong place. Thanks for your input. Any help/information/tips is GREATLY appreciated. THanks again.
