The new expansion has made the game a lot better. It was a step in the right direction but there's still more to do. The new loot system makes the game much more fun. I hope Blizzard stick with D3 and push more content for it and continue to polish it. Remember that D2 took expansions as well before it really got going.

Playing FFXIV atm. It's a good game but like all other MMOs you do need to find a good guild to stick with it. The first time experience of levelling is pretty good and some of the late game stuff can be difficult. However, I think the nature of the game is limiting in itself so there's not much variability in the fights because pretty much all characters are same as the other due to lack of skill/talent trees. It's extremely polished but nothing groundbreaking.
