I do not understand why they would lock the bios on the computer that we brought from them. I have had other laptops before and the bios was never locked.

My bios is V3.05 and I want to mod it so I can change the default onboard GPU to my nvida 750m. Also if I can get the whitelist removed from my bios so if I want to change any hardware later on I can do so with no limitation. Please advice what needs to be done in order to do all this.

My current bios is insydeH20 V3.05 and I want to mod the bios so I can change the default onboard GPU(Intel 4600) to my actual Nvidia 750m. Also it would be great if the bios can also remove the whitelist so if I plan on changing any of the hardware later on I can do so. Please advice in what I should do, I just got my laptop.
