So if I understand it correctly you can just get the caddy from hddcaddy and stick that in with the faceplate of the DVD drive?

I'd say performance with bluestacks should be way better than on mobile devices themselves provided you have a decent laptop. Make sure you don't have other programs running and it might run a lot better

There are a lot of suggestions here but I too am looking for a cooling pad for my lenovo y510p. It's not overheating or anything, but it does get quite hot when I play games like Planetside 2 and I'm not a big fan of heat as my previous laptop's GPU died because of it. What would you suggest for somebody on a low budget?
