This is incredibly valuable information. Lenovo is going to take my Y500 (27th produced) and replace it with the Y510p. I find that there are fewer reported problems on the forums, but I have read that the Y510p has been throttled by Lenovo. I can't find any certain information, but based on what I've read about this modded BIOS I should be able to surpass Lenovo's measures. Two questions remain for me: First, is it possible to raise the Fans speed? Second, If I restore the Stock BIOS after I flash the modded one, can Lenovo tell the difference? Thanks!
