GTX 780M temperature and benchmarks on M18x R1

Hy guys! I am new here and i hope you can help me. I just recently bought an alienware 17, with 780m and i want to repaste it, and make the thermal pads right. Right now the gpu temp can be 83 C degrees. I think this is because of the bad manufacture paste... So my question is, can be anything else that i have this much temp?
