  1. Wonder if they will add purchasable onboard mobile 3d support.
  2. The performance if sli 980m is mind numbing given a vbios upgrade i can see these eating sli 780m per card. Ive already passed 30k graphics score in 3dmark 11 and 14.9k physics with this raw power available on small form factor its about time desktop cards went half size single width again.
  3. Oh ram went 460 no issues at all in sli just scores went down.
  4. Cant say really i played around for the day now i have 1 in my p370sm experimentinv the other in mh brothers p370sm3 investigating whats changed to loose 3d i desperately want 3d vision on 980m sli...
  5. Im expecting to see graphics scores in the 30k range very soon i have no doubt at all if i want i can break 15k graphics score... no point at this stage until throttlings sorted.
  6. So... half the score 980 will be savage... cant really do much with the clocks atm the score got worse if i add or remove anything...struggled to reach boost more often than not
  7. http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/9081413. And thats throttling.....
  8. Yeah slackets 3 parcels canada to uk 3 delays of 1 4 days extra time for delivery.
  9. Fix the throttling 980ms lol i want to trounce some benchmarks beford i sell my panther 5 hehe
  10. Oh god,World watch out svl7's on the case... brace yourselfs😈
  11. Your system aw 18 is pretty much what im after if i come across 1 up for grabs. Yes mine has FN+1 toggle but its not needed as bad as clevo fans are for spinning up late ive found this more than adiquate even at 6 cores 4600mhz and any video card overclocked as high as it can go... overvolting doesnt risk temps.
  12. I imagine a sandy would be great with it either tbh. Ive seen drastic improvements with bumping clock speed
  13. Impossible! No dedicated uefi environment never work...
  14. im thinking a p3XX series clevo or 18" Alien. I like aliens cooling over all clevos baring this one which is pretty damn good and like all the trimmings they get backlighting was always nicer and games that supported the profiles etc so alx18-m18xr2 with a later day upgrading to 2 more 980ms
  15. Hmm thats no problem i do that now but thanks for the heads up and run 8.1 too lazy to revery to 7 got used to the quirks now and i get better fps gaming lol.... i think ill px for an m18 and sli 980m it unless i get any offers.
  16. Buy my machine power and 980m broom broom.
  17. interesting but im not for soldered components im happy carting about a p375 or simular there pretty sleek by comparison to what im used too maybe even just an AL18 once 980m SLI is fully functional.
  18. Small update, stuffed the 980m into my brothers p370sm3 and took his sli 780m's out bios shows "unknown" under vga and there is a 5second delay of black screen then boots normally in windows disabled driversigning(windows 8.1) installed 344.75 nvidia driver with modded inf(after driver signing reboot that is). rebooted again having re enabled driver signing all good bench mark was near identical to above p370sm... no dramas running idle in the very low 30s with ambient 22degrees.. max after a 3dmark 11 run was 62 degrees using arctic mx4 machine ran cool quiet and smooth lovely upgrade for anyone out there. 120hz works great but of course no 3D Vision as expected...
  19. I must say im not much of a fan of these haswells... clock 2 4930mx in p30sm and p370sm3 both fall over at 4400 i miss ivy bridge if p370em took sli 980 id get my old machine out the loft... that didnt throttle held 4600mhz...
  20. it sounds elitist but not ment that way but... after the 570 there is no way i could settle for a w230ss it would drive me nuts a p370-p375sm/a is probably what ill go for or dare i say it an RMAware with a solo 980m
  21. Guess that confirms my suspicions 4930k and 3930 are the sweet spot on the p570wm.
