i havent tried force flash. just regular atiflash -p 0 vbios.rom. i'll try that again later. also, are the vbios file identical for both master and slave cards? thanks

i was thinking to have 6800 series features that werent available for 5800 series through firmware upgrade so the driver will enable those features upon installing. thanks for ur help.

your 6870 bios mod for m17x link is not working. i tried to flash 6870OD1.1v.rom but it was giving me error saying image/rom error and it wont flash. is that file compatible with M17x 5870M?
