Hi... I'd like to flash the OC gtx780m bios to my new Medion Erazer with gtx780m. Did not have much time to play with it but what I already came to like is that the latest nv drivers installed without having to use a modded inf file. However... Nvflash it is warning me that the PC Subystem does not match (my is 1462.10ea versus 1028.05AA of the image). In addition - the size is quite different (mine is only about 93kb after saving to file - the oc version is 169kb). I know that it is always a risk to flash but could you please give me a short hint if: - I should risk to flash regardless of the differences (subsystem and size) ? - I will still be able to install the latest NV drivers without needing to use a modded inf if I do If not - would you be interested in getting the bios to take a look at it ? I really need help now. I've bought the GTX770M MXM module and was able to put it into my machine. I can boot into windows. That is the good news. That bad news is that I wasn't able to find a single driver that did install sucessfully. I needed to use the modded inf file of laptopvideo2go. That was to be expected. But the driver installation fails. I refitted the old card to check if it is a general issue of my system or the driver but with the old card I could install the drivers with the modded inf. I tried 331.93 and 331.82 both with modded inf. I also tried drivers from dell and msi for laptops with gtx770m - they do not start to install. Yet to try one of those with modded inf. I will try this. Just ordered this gtx770m: New Nvidia GeForce GTX 770M 3GB DDR5 MXM 3.0 Type B for MSI Alienware | eBay Unsucessfully tried to upgrade from 570m to 670mx - but no luck - no post, no boot. If I get the 770m to work I'd be really happy as I still like my 1761 based Erazor X7815. Had a really good performance/price ratio and I do not think the CPU (Intel Core i7-2670QM) is an issue even with latest games as they just started to use all 4 cores... I'd expect at least x1.5 speed upgrade - however not more as I was able to OC the old beast to whooping 1600Mhz (800Mhz Base clock) with a modded bios. Will keep you posted... Anyway - I'm unsure what to do with the unlucky gtx670mx module. It was from a good seller at ebay and I think it is working (in general - not in my notebook). Any suggestions by luck ?
