  1. Hello, svl7. Sorry for my English is not very good. could you modified msi gtx680m?(laptop: gt70 old type..) I know you have modified msi gtx680m in the post ---"NVIDIA Kepler VBIOS mods - Overclocking Editions, modified clocks, voltage tweaks" and the vbios now I use is "MSI 680m - 80.04.33.00.24_'OCedition'_revised_02 - OV 1025v.zip " , it is a very good vbios. But the little disadvantage is that if I want to set the gpu clock/memory to 1000/1200(this is the frequency I use usually), I must use some software as inspector etc.. And for now, another critical problem is that the newest nvidia driver is 331.58, and the driver sets the throttle temperature is 87 Celsius, i think it is a really low temperature, and in Inspecotor, you can't remove the check of the priorize temperature box. So could you modified a new vbios that contains the feature: 1. Remove the throttle temperature or change it to 95 Celsius. 2. The default gpu clock/memory is 950/1050, and I could use Inspector to higher frequency if I want. 3. The turbo function could work, if the turbo mode is off, the frequency is the ordinary freq set by the manufacture, and if the turbo mode is on, the fre is 950/1050,(of course, if the function is too hard to realize, it doesn't matter.) 4. The voltage is 1.05v, (I have bought the 230w power adapter, haha) In fact, only the 1st requested feature is important.(), and the other requests is better and better... And here is the ordinary msi vbios: GK104.zip Thanks a lot!
  2. i think it is the power problem, maybe a 230w adapter is fine.
  3. i flashed an modified vbios from a chinese barebone forum, the vbios is modiefied based on the original msi vbios. the vbios didn't change the voltage, still 1.012v. and the core is 954mhz max, memory is 1100mhz max. then give a 200mhz software change range. but without increase the voltage, up to 1ghz , it is not very stale. will course error in 3dmark 11
  4. Due to oc my gtx680m without increase voltage, i only could oc to core 900/memory 1200(of course, the card asic quality is 72.7%,not very good) so i think i should flash modified vbios to unlocked the voltage limit and the 135mhz offset limit. but i don't know when i use the high voltage vbios, is the 180w power brick enough? (cause i stop the cpu throttling and use turbo mode(modified vbios,1.03v voltage) to run furmark and aida64 at the same time, the laptop shutdown automatically, and the temperature isn't very high) so i think maybe 180w brick isn't enough, i have order a second hand 230w brick from b2c sites=-=.. Anther question, what differences between the several msi 680m vbios modified by master svl7? @svl7 thanks very much~
  5. sorry for my english=-= i am a gt70 user(old verison, now use 10u bios and 4.14ecbios) for the old 4.0x ecbios, when test in 3dmark11 P mode, the physics score could be 7600+(cpu 3630qm) and when i flash the new 4.14 ecbios, the physics score always is about 5800-6000, i didn't open aida64 to observe it. did anyone do the test to check? And i found the unofficial ec bios .t16 in msi forum, it seems remove the cpu throttling in high performance mode. but it isn't the latest ecbios. did anyone have the latest ecbios with stop cpu throttling? Thanks~
