  1. @svl7 Here is the new EVGA GTX 780 TI Classified Bios posted by kingpin. Can you please mod this one instead of the pervious one posted as this one is working correctly with voltage setting etc. It still needs your modifications to remove boost etc. Thanks EVGA GTX 780 TI Classified Bios Update.zip
  2. @svl7 Any updates on the 780 TI Classifieds bios. I know its the holidays and do not mean to rush you or anything. Just wanted to know if we can expect the modded bios in the future ? Thanks
  3. @svl7 Here is the normal and LN2 bios for the GTX 780 TI Classified. If you can please mod them that would be awesome. I also wanted to let you know that EVGA has acknowledge that these two bios being shipped with every GTX 780 TI Classified have issues with overclocking and overvolting them past 1.21 with the classified tool, or evbot and is resulting in crashes / BSOD. EVGA has come forward and said that they are working on a new bios for these cards that should fix the issues and will release it when its ready. Nonetheless here are the bios my cards shipped with hope you can fix the issues and mod them. Thank You GTX 780 TI Classified Bios.zip
  4. @svl7 I currently have a two GTX 780 Classifieds flashed with your 80.10.3A.0x.80 bios. They are revision A1 and have been working perfectly with your bios. I now see that there are two new bios posted in this thread for the classifieds. The first one is posted on the front page of this thread its bios 80.10.36.00.01 then on page 68 you listed another classified bios version 80.80.21.0x.80. I would like to upgrade the bios on both cards to the newest version. 1. Can you confirm which one is newer ? 2. Can I use either of them on my A1 revision cards without any problems ? Thanks
  5. Well I just tryed the K-Boost setting and that seemed to fix my issue completely. No more downclocking. Now it is my understanding that K-Boost disables the cards boost and runs at max clocks all the time. I think I remember using svl7 first SC ACX bios and not having any type of downclock what so ever in any games... I also remember modding a 680 bios with the Kepler bios tweaker myself and completely disabling boost and that seemed to do the trick it would downclock to 2d clock and then stay at max 3d clock speeds in games. Any chance you can please take a look at the classified bios when you have some free time svl7 and see if there is something wrong with it ? Thank You Once Again
  6. Yes it still happens with it set to performance... It really sucks as my framerates drop to about 60fps for a few sec with my clocks at 1045MHz... I game on a 120hz monitor and even with vsync on my framerate drops to below 100fps. This is by far the dumbest thing I have seen NVIDIA do. Why can't I just play at my max clocks settings. I am going try one last thing that will hopefully fix this issue which is enable Percision X K-Boost setting and see if my clock stay. Will report back soon. P.S. @svl7 Are you sure there is not a bug in this bios as I think I remember my old 780 SC ACX using your "EVGA 780 - SC ACX - 80.10.37.00.0B - 'OC edition v00" and it not downclocking while playing borderlands 2 a few weeks ago ?
  7. I just played Borderlands 2 for about 15 mins. The lowest I saw it go was to 1045MHz then once and a while it will go up a bit then drop back down. I noticed it go all the way up to my set overclock speed once things got a bit crazy in game then drop back down once GPU usage dropped below 50%. I am going to post my hardware monitor file log so you can have a look if you need any more info please let me know. Thank You Once Again HardwareMonitoring.zip
  8. Yea sure let me get that log file for you will post it in a few mins. Thank You
  9. @slv7 thank you for the classified bios I installed them on my 2 new 780 classifieds and have been working. I only have one little problem is there anyway to disable the card from downclocking in less intensive games. For example while playing in borderlands 2 my cards will most of the time downclock themselves to a lower clock speed till the GPU usage goes up then they will speed up to my set overclock speed. I know this is a GTX 600 and 700 feature as NVIDIA has stated that they downclock themselves in less intensive games and older games. I would like to know if this feature could be removed so my GPU stays at my set overclock speed and never downclock themselves ? I am currently using your new 780 classified bios. Thank You
  10. Thanks svl7 for the bios. I just tried to flash the bios but nvflash 1.28.0.1 dos version keeps telling me error I need to use a newer version of nvflash. I saw in the 3 page of this thread someone was able to use nvflash 5.134.0.1 windows version to flash the card. I have never used the windows version of nvflash and do not want to mess up my cards can someone please provide me with the commands I need to use to be able to flash both on my cards ? Thanks
  11. @svl7 Any chance the new ACX vbios will be ready for today? I love to find out how far I can push my two cards. Thanks
  12. Ok cool thanks for letting me know. I will wait for you to release the new ACX bios. Thanks
  13. @svl7 Hi I think I have giving enough time for my cards to break in already and would like to use your bios mod on both my cards. I would like to know if you have had some time to take a look at the new bios for the EVGA SC ACX to see if its a bit different fan related to the stock card. It would be great if you can also mod the new v08.10.37.00.80 as I have been using it for a few hours and I think its allot more stable in my machine since I do not have a UEFI compatible motherboard. I do not mean to rush you just wanted to know if its safe to flash your current bios mod without having any problem with my fan operation and if we can expect a new bios from you soon. Thanks Thanks
  14. Thanks for letting me that it should not cause any problem with the 350watt power target. I just posted the new v08.10.37.00.80 link to the evga page where you can get the SC ACX version from in my last post . If you have any problem downloading it please let know and I will send it to you. I will now provide you with the link to my current bios for my SC ACX which is v.08.10.36.00.80 I hope this can help you examine them and see if there are any differences. I back it up using GPU-Z 0.6.4. https://mega.co.nz/#!RRxi1Rgb!cK-64yEAF-3SB4nF9ILzl3zgPmw_71DdjcD8w-wZYAY Thanks P.S. Please let us know if you find anything different.
  15. There was a new bios released for EVGA GTX 780's it is supposed to improve motherboard compatibility with older motherboards that do not support UEFI bios. Any chance you could also mod that bios it is v.80.10.37 and can be found here EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Firmware Update v80.10.37 - Updated 5/31/2013 Thanks
