Minami Chan
Got my MBA2014 11" (Core i5) few days ago. I'm running Pro Tools on it for home recording/mixing.I've noticed that my tasks put a heavy demand on CPU performance. But I didn't have the money for a Mackbook Pro. Can I just push it a little bit? And how to if I can? OS is OS X Maverick.Thanks.

miikoyosram
I am thinking the same thing. If you overclock the CPU of MacBook it might overheat. So it is not advisable.
charles03
Not only is the stock cooling capabilities not that great on a Macbook Air, Apple has the hardware and software on lockdown so it would be very difficult to make the necessary bios adjustments for stable overclocking.
