Okay. I'm confused. My boss just asked me to find a place where we can buy solenoid valves which I've never heard of until now. Any ideas what this is and what it is used on? I checked wikipedia but I only got more confused. Looked like a lot of Physics stuff. Help?

I'm not too familiar but I read and research about it. I found out that solenoid valves are highly engineered products in which the valves are controlled by electric current through a cylindrical coil of wire (solenoid).  Though, I'm also confuse of the functions of these valves.  You may try searching it online also, I encountered a tutorial that can answer technical questions about your inquiry.

Okay. I think I got the gist of it. Any idea what I should be looking for in a supplier? My friend said that this is the only solenoid valve supplier that he knows. You guys know if they are good and reliable? I'm going to do lots of reading for this this coming weekend. I can't even begin to imagine what I should write in my proposal.

My partner was supposed to get this project since he's the one usually in charge for stuff like this. But he had to take a paternity leave because his wife is due to give birth soon. Oh well. :/
