Macbook pro Gt750m with Akitio and gtx 980 ti .. is it possible internal LCD ?

Hey guy im still waiting for my setup . ill get it next week .

i ordered akitio and gigabyte 980 ti gaming one . i already have 2014 macbook pro with gt750m 2.5ghz .

i was wondering about these stuff

1- can i play on my internal lcd or should i attach external display ?

2- i have read that gt750m does not run well with egpu , what if i disable it . would it be solved ?

3- what about cpu bottleneck . am i good with i7 2.5 ghz

But external display makes much more sense with such a powerful GPU!

There are multiple people with running eGPUs setups and a 750m in their MacBook.

2.5GHz is good. The CPU will boost itself to higher speeds. You might want to consider using Intel XTU in Windows to lower the CPUs voltage and maybe even limit the turbo to sth like 3GHz.
