Clevo bios w250ENQ w270/ENQ. Is it equivalent to any other models? Fan control?

Hi,

So yeah, I've been looking for a way to control the fans on my laptop, which led me to consider alternate bios options, which led me here, which led to the question:   How come I don't see my clevo bios model anywhere else? Not on here: https://www.wimsbios.com/biosupdates/clevo.jsp#biosupdates.  Not on a single post on this forum (unless search can't find it), not in the OP for bios models.

I'm thinking it's probably equivalent to another w model, but I'm not sure. I can't really find any other information about w250enq.  Here's everything I know about my system:

from system information: BIOS Version/Date    American Megatrends Inc. 4.6.5, 1/7/2013

from bios screen:  there were 2 different versions listed. first one was 1.2.09 with a label i forgot, second was EC: 1.02.04.

Both bios and system info list is as w250enq/270enq.

In any case, do you know anything about this?

Alternate path:

It should be possible to use RWE to modify the fan speeds right?  I tried using it to change a bunch of addresses in EC that were different before/after fanspeed change successfully, but i didn't know what I was doing, and the fans got locked to medium speed until reboot.
