I decided to try upgrade to the NVIDIA GTX780m but the video card is not showing up in device manager. Is my card dead or is there something anyone can suggest I try? Darrenc50 Posted January 27, 2016 Author Share Posted January 27, 2016 I upgraded my m17r3 from the ATI 6870m to the GTX780m and the GTX780m does not show in device manager just integrated graphics. You need the modified .inf for the Bios to recognize that the GTX780m is installed. I fought with this for days then realized I missed the modified .inf part. Once I added the modded .inf it loaded no problem and is running fine. Everything is running fine. Sound/Fans all working. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
