matthew
Hi all,My CyberpowerPC-branded W230SS has always had issues going into the setup utility. I had asked CyberpowerPC to make sure the latest BIOS had been installed and that they ensure I can boot to BIOS when I sent it in. They consider how this functions as "not an issue". I can get into setup my removing a hw component. Also I can get into the setup via Windows 10 (and before this Windows 8.1) Advanced Startup Restart but no other way like F2 (or any other key). I'd like to put on PM but am concerned this could affect the process. The UEFI settings also only allow for Boot Option #1 Windows Boot Manager and there is no other boot selection other than to disable UEFI Boot (and UEFI Network Stack if UEFI is enabled). Is this normal for a W230SS? I'm BIOS 1.03.06 after my last CyberpowerPC repair and KBC/EC firmware of 1.03.01. This is supposed to be the lastest from when I received it from repair this summer. I'd like to go directly to the Prema 1.1 if possible but can take intermediary steps as needed. Thanks much
Guest
You can directly flash the Prema Mod, no intermediary steps required.Just make sure to disable UEFI before the flash and re-enable it in BIOS afterwards.
