iTzZent
Hi, can you buy GT72 Upgrade Kit, the card works perfectly in the GT70, and without modified driver! You only have to remove the X-bracket carefully (e.g. with a hairdryer). For cooling, you can use your current heatsink, this only needs to be slightly modified, see here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/the-official-msi-gt60-70-970m-980m-upgrade-thread. 765058 /
Gogor
Hi, I'm still worried about the heatsink, here are the 780m and the 980m pcboards from your link : Here is the 675mx : The heatsink modification won't be the same for me in my mind. I would be ok for a slightly modification of my cooling system but I would love a brand new one fitting the GT70 and a better MXM card than the 675. Don't you think the card's layout are too different for a heatsink modification ? Thanks for your link itzzent
Gogor
The correct heatsink for 970m seems to be this one Aliexpress.com : Buy Graphics Card Heatsink for MSI GT60 GT70 GTX770M GTX780M E310 406580 Y31 from Reliable heatsink cooler suppliers on Waresphere Co., Ltd.
