Kiwi
Hello all,I've just got myself a P150SM-A and I'm currently trying to tune it up a bit. I have PremaMod Installed and have already gone over the RAM and the GPU (W/O vBios) and I've hit a bit of a wall. The RAM is stable and rolls through Memtest84. The GPU is very happy and cool also so when I'm feeling a little braver I may flash the vBios too. Anyway, the CPU is my issue, in the BIOS I can't change the multiplier any higher than 25. In XTU once again cant change the multiplier but can change the reference clock. If I go any higher than 2510mhz XTU crashes and the system restarts. Any idea on where to from here?CheersKiwi
Guest
x25 sounds like its the non-turbo multiplier. That's not used for overclocking. In BIOS the CPU overclocking is:"Advanced" > "Performance Tuning" > "CPU Overclocking" > "x Core Ratio Limit"There you can set the multiplier for 1-4 used cores. Depending on your CPU model you can raise these by 2 or 4 each. So end up with something like 39-38-37-37.

Guest
Keep GPU-Z running in the background to keep the GPU activated.
