meepingmep
I was looking to utilize the 40-pin LVDS interface available on my motherboard, GA-H81TN. My goal is to eventually hook up an LQ156D1JX01 because its pretty and has lots of pixels. Currently I have a few old laptop monitors that I wanted to first test on to see if any of them clicked. Model numbers if your interested: LTN121AT02, LTN160AT02, LP156WH1, LQ12S51. The monitors came with an LVDS output that used to connect to the laptops they were decapitated from. None of which would connect to my motherboard, atleast not in a simple way. I've read that the interfaces on laptop panels are very non-standard and are piled up in a bundle of confusion. So I was wondering, does anybody have any resources that organizes the varying interfaces of LVDS?Particularly so that I might be able to identify the interfaces in a more concise way. i.e. 20-30-40 pins, with single, double, or quad channels. Can the panel that I want be run properly through my interface?Perhaps I'm asking something absurd, my apologies if I am.
