Kynlore
I'm trying to update my system settings for my game account that I applied to be a beta tester for, however, everytime I run the system scan it only shows the integrated Intel video rather than the nVidia. I set the default video card in the nVidia control panel to the "high-performance" and also set it for Firefox. The results are the same each time, showing the Intel.Any ideas on getting it to read the nVidia?
Founder StamatisX Posted July 18, 2011 Founder Share Posted July 18, 2011 Important information, what game would that be? could you run furmark while the program is scanning your configuration so the dedicated GPU will kick in and see what happens?Since you have an M14x I have moved your post to the M14x section of the forum
Founder Brian Posted July 18, 2011 Founder Share Posted July 18, 2011 Well M14x uses optimus which employs automatic switching. Turn on a GPU intensive program like furmark and run it in the background and then run that scanner and see if it picks up the nVidia GPU. Kynlore
It's for Star Wars: The Old Republic.I'll try FurMark and see if that works.
Kynlore
Thanks for the idea but it didn't work. I tried a couple other programs, but they didn't work either. It's not that big of a deal I suppose.
