Founder StamatisX Posted July 3, 2011 Founder Share Posted July 3, 2011 The R2 doesn't have the option to select XMP profile from within BIOS, only M17x-R3 and M18x have that option.
andyausz
Support the M17x R2 the XMP Profile? but you have Cas7 with your hyperx, how you make it? i have 9-9-9-
Founder StamatisX Posted July 3, 2011 Founder Share Posted July 3, 2011 Indeed HyperX @ 1333 MHz 2GB modules should be CL 7, if you change the BCLK to a higher or lower frequency then it will automatically change the timings accordingly, but there is no option in the BIOS for that. ie 800 means that your frequency will be 1600MHz and the timings will be 9-9-9-27. This is from mine (but I am 5% OCed from BIOS) Are you sure you got the CL 7 and not the 4GB modules that are CL 9? Edit As far as I know, only the 2x2GB are CL7, the 2x4GB are CL 9
andyausz
so, now i have 5% OCed from BIOS and i changed the memoryslots but the result is 9-9-9-24 with 700MHz edit: the 2*4GB use 7-7-7-20 @667MHz with XMP-Profile
Founder StamatisX Posted July 3, 2011 Founder Share Posted July 3, 2011 So far I haven't seen anyone with the 2x4GB HyperX to have CL 7, I try to remember the name of a program that you can buy and you can reprogram the timings, once I find it I will post it Can you post this btw?
