LiverpoolsNo9
.....just a heads up for anyone thinking about using Corsair Vengeance memory in their Y510p......just don't......it causes major instability and BSODs. It was an expensive lesson, and I'm back on the memory it came with.
NonXtreme
Just to confirm something. Since a lot of people tend to make the mistake about this.Is your memory DDR3L one? DDR3L is the one with 1.35v not DDR3 which is 1.5v. Since y510p with haswell cpu can only use DDR3L one. If you use ddr3 one on y510p, it will cause instability since notebook can't provide enough voltage to ram.
