It's actually pretty funny considering the only difference is 45mhz on the core clock... what a fuckin joke. its a different core but ive heard someone on nbr say that the 580m uses 2 watts more than 485m... WTF NVIDIA? lol. This is actually great, it lowers the price of the 485m so that its actually affordable. About the same or less than the 6970 now. sweet. Bif I think those are wonderful ideas, I myself had thought of shuttle motherboards that overclock and loading a single desktop gpu with two cores inside (with an adapter if the make them anymore that changes vertical port to horizontal), a desktop gpu either 990x or 2600k whichever mono chipset takes, utilizing mobile hard drives and build or modify and a existing desktop psu to be slimmer and portable (obviously not very portable and much bigger than even the clevo or alienware 300watt psu). All that with the alienware keyboard in a larger m17 or m18 chassis... With any choice of display like a custom fitted IPS. Clevo gets away with it can't we? I forgot the key ingredient there would be a liquid cooled low profile CPU cooler (a second for the gpu) like one corsair sells paired with a custom heatsink so the only fans would be the radiators for the corsair liquid cooling CPU coolers and the psu most likely.
