nekromantik Posted July 20, 2014 Share Posted July 20, 2014 Hi, I got my brand new MSI GE60 2PE today and I think I have a defective unit. Within minutes of turning it on first time I get black line across the screen, it happens every now and again but starts to be every few minutes the more the laptop heats up. I then rebooted into BIOS to remove software problems but yet again same issue occurs which confirms to me its a hardware fault. Do you guys think its better to go through MSI or shop I got it from? chrous Posted July 21, 2014 Share Posted July 21, 2014 Can you drive / go to the shop as I did with my 3 first msi notebook GS70, GT60 and now GT70 is perfect and all replaced on site as the store it's just faster I find.Also black lines from your post happens in bios also if you move the screen do the lines "change" if not it could just be a cable problem but in any event call the store and see what they will do.
