Shibbb
I've recently upgraded my MSI GT70 0NC from a gtx 675m to a gtx 780m and after looking for fixes i have come to the conclusion that i need to flash my video cards bios. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this as I've never done it before and i cant seem to find the BIOS i need. If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be awesome . Shibbb
Thanks, that seemed to work for.But now I'm facing another problem.I used a modified inf file to install the drivers as it was showing up as a standard VGA device. The graphics card now shows up in boot manager but I cant seem to use it to play any games. It also doesn't appear in dxdiag too.Any ideas? trigger25sg
Video Bios Collection | techPowerUpI used the msi vbios here it works like a charm. No need to mod inf files but its the same problem i have with my msi gt60 0nc. The cpu will throttle even with a slight overclock coming from 670m and 680m. I have locked the 780m to core speed 771 and disable the turbo to 849 and the cpu throttle to 1.1 ghz. I was hoping to see your results. Now after flash, reinstall Nvidia drivers (with enabled option "Clean install").- - - Updated - - -Video Bios Collection | techPowerUpI used the msi vbios here it works like a charm. In this program disable "BD Prochot" and disable "Turbo Boost".
Shibbb
Ok so i installed drivers without the inf file but now I'm blue screening. This is the same problem as i had before and its why i bought a replacement graphics card, so i guess it wasn't the problem after all which is annoying. It says it was caused by dxgkrnl.sys+5d140.Not sure how to add the dump files on here.
