Cheers this worked! Will this work with all drivers and is it replacing a different 770m? I am also wondering why this device ID is not on nvidias inf or dell's for that matter? Also what device did DELL ship this vga with as i presume they have a driver for it?

Returned my 8970m which was about 400.

J95
Yes, it will work with every driver release, to remove throttling try flashing the proper unlocked vBIOS (DOS method) and remember to backup first http://forum.techinferno.com/nvidia-video-cards/2166-%5Bguide%5D-nvidia-vbios-flashing.html

It's a pity we have to do this still confused why the drivers don't work out of the box.
rslatara
I am finding lots of fluctuation in clock speeds from 500-860 whilst gaming and trying out your MSI BIOS does it keep it at a higher clock rate?
J95
There's a generic Nvidia version (770m rev02) of svl7's vBIOS (consider donating), better ask @svl7 anyway.
