I had upgraded my M15X's 460m to a 6970m only to have issues when stressed (blank screen, lines, distortion, etc) so I took out the aluminim foil carefully wrapped it up leaving gpu exposed and did a reflow with a heat gun. So far so good has passed every benchmark multiple times and done a few sessions of furmark and kombuster and temps are normal. My 3d mark 06 scores were a few hundred off what they were but similar and my vantage scores seemed good so I flashed it with a 6990m 790/1000 bios and goT decent scores imo.
