gregflower
Hi guys,im new to the forums so firstly a big hello to everyone! It seems quite a common problem but the problem is - when SLI is enabled on my 680m cards and im in game i get 'flickering' exactly the same as the sticky post in this forum (120hz).Im a bit of a noob im afraid to admit! and really need my hand held almost in trying to resolve this i know almost nothing about bios vbios etc - and really dont want to download the wrong program and fry my computer somehow! I thought maybe the 2nd graphics card was faulty or maybe the sli bridge was damaged or not seated correctly but seems not to be that.i really apologise for not knowing much about this kinda of stuff. if someone could help me out i would be eternally grateful! my computer is Chassis & Display Vortex Series: 17.3" 120Hz 3D Matte Full HD LED Widescreen (1920x1080) Processor (CPU) Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Mobile Processor i7-3840QM (2.80GHz) 8MB Memory (RAM) 32GB SAMSUNG 1600MHz SODIMM DDR3 MEMORY (4 x 8GB) Graphics Card 2 x NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 680M - 4.0GB DDR5 Video RAM - DirectX® 11 2nd Graphics Card NONE Memory - 1st Hard Disk 750GB SEAGATE MOMENTUS XT HYBRID, SATA 6 Gb/s, 32MB CACHE (7200 rpm) 2nd Hard Disk 750GB SEAGATE MOMENTUS XT HYBRID, SATA 6 Gb/s, 32MB CACHE (7200 rpm) RAID NONE SSD CACHE DRIVE NONE 1st DVD/BLU-RAY Drive 6x BLURAY WRITER, 8x DVD ±R/±RW & CYBERLINK SOFTWARE Memory Card Reader Internal 9 in 1 Card Reader (MMC/RSMMC/SD: Mini, XC & HC/MS: Pro & Duo) Thermal Paste ARCTIC MX-4 EXTREME THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY COMPOUND (£9) Sound Card Creative Sound Blaster® X-Fi™ HD-Audiophile-Grade Sound External (£82) Wireless/Wired Networking GIGABIT LAN & KILLER™ 1103 WIRELESS GAMING 802.11N NETWORK CARD USB Options 4 x USB 3.0 PORTS + 1 x USB 2.0 PORT AS STANDARD Battery Vortex Elite 8 Cell Lithium Ion Battery (5,800 mAh/89.21WH) Power Cable 1 x UK Power Lead & 300W AC Adaptor Operating System Genuine Windows 8 Professional 64 Bit - inc DVD & Licence (£109) Many thanks to all the reply and even more to anyone who can help me fix this!
