tmizzle999
Hey guys. I'm a newbie here and with over clocking. Been readin up alot on the problems with 4900/4930 cpu's so I understand that the TDP will be screwing me. I seem to have found a SOMEWHAT decent config, except I get either BSOD or the heat goes past 90. I'm using the HWiNFO64 to help with the fan controls a bit. Though my idle temps are right now 55-60... During a stress test it's mid 80's. Bios settings: Everything stock except for GT Overclocking: 45 XTU Settings that I changed: My HWiNFO64 fan set up: So my question is, how can I drop the temps a bit without getting new paste put on. This laptop is 2 days old, and is my 3rd free replacement from Dell. Don't want the warranty to be voided is possible. Somewhat pissed off that my broken M18xR2 runs better than this brand new supposed beast... Will the vBios flash for the 780's make an impact? Thanks for your time guys. If I screwed shit up in my settings, don't be too harsh. I'm still learning this stuff.
