Why not keep your CPU, and get a 4900MQ or the MX one? If you brick it via overclocking you can use your 4700MQ to reset bios and try again.

I agree with yotano211. Especially if you can live without the extra couple hundred mhz, save the cash.

Gaming mouse for laptop

I'm using the Razer Orochi 2013 and IT IS HORRIBLE. Doesn't detect half the time. Sometimes when it detects only a couple buttons work. It's the same on every computer that I have tried it on. Clearly it's not JUST my pc. Aside from that, any logitech is pretty nice. -
I'd go with alienware. I like the looks more and the support is awesome. Atleast in my experiences thus far.

Hey guys. I'm a newbie here and with over clocking. Been readin up alot on the problems with 4900/4930 cpu's so I understand that the TDP will be screwing me. I seem to have found a SOMEWHAT decent config, except I get either BSOD or the heat goes past 90. I'm using the HWiNFO64 to help with the fan controls a bit. Though my idle temps are right now 55-60... During a stress test it's mid 80's. Bios settings: Everything stock except for GT Overclocking: 45 XTU Settings that I changed: My HWiNFO64 fan set up: So my question is, how can I drop the temps a bit without getting new paste put on. This laptop is 2 days old, and is my 3rd free replacement from Dell. Don't want the warranty to be voided is possible. Somewhat pissed off that my broken M18xR2 runs better than this brand new supposed beast... Will the vBios flash for the 780's make an impact? Thanks for your time guys. If I screwed shit up in my settings, don't be too harsh. I'm still learning this stuff.

I have an Alienware 18 with the 780's. Will this simply unlock them, or do you have a preset selected as well with the install?
