Clevo P150EM/P151EM1 touchpad issue

Hi Guys,

I have got a problem with my laptop Sager NP9130 (Clevo P151EM1): touchpad does not work properly.

So buttons (left and right) work well, but pointer doesn’t move when I move finger across the sensor space!

I have tried ALL software methods: re-installing OS, re-installing last driver and driver from Sager web site, checking it in recovery mode.

Any suggestions?

I bought new Synaptics Touchpad module with part number TM-01146-003 found in the service manual for Clevo P150EM/P151EM1. I think about changing this module.

Maybe somebody has full disassembly video/photo instructions (including front panel removal). Could you please provide this information?

Thanks!

Thanks! I have got one service manual for P150EM/P151EM1. But it doesn't contain instructions how to remove "Top with Fingerprint (P151EM1)", only schematic diagrams.

Are there these photo instructions in the service manual attached in this forum?

Maybe you know is it possible to remove "Top with Fingerprint (P151EM1)" without disassembling/removal of LCD?

Some Clevos have the touchpad static sensor pad actually as part of the full palmrest, my current M571TU does, and my old M670SU did. If it is the touchpad sensor itself you'll need to replace the full palmrest, which will also mean removal of the screen assembly and the base section. The touchpad board and sensor pad are not sold as a separate part, but the buttons and button board are.

Thank you for advice! But I can't find the full palmrest for P151EM1. Where you bought this part for your laptop?

Maybe someone knows where to buy spare parts (the full palmrest) for Clevo/Sager laptops?
