Schorsch
Hi all, I have got an older Laptop CLEVO P170SM (P17SM-A // Chipset HM87 (Lynx Point) // Intel Core i7 - 4710 MQ // NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M // 32 GB RAM / 2x1 TB SSD). It has been running successfully with Win 10 64 Bit for the last few years. Now I have installed Win 11 and since then, my BIOS is making troubles: Everytime I shutdown the computer and restart it again, the computer is set to a date in 2013 and does not know the boot drive. I have already swapped the CMOS battery but without any success. I fear that the BIOS is damaged after a reset to default settings. Is there a way to revive the BIOS maybe by flashing it? Can anyone send me the BIOS update files? Currently installed BIOS version is 4.6.5. // 11/14/2014 Thx!
