Overclock a PPU

Recommended Posts

hello guys..

a few days ago I did some tests with titan + gtx690 in metro LL. the SLi feeling is not the best (caused by AFR) so I tried GTX690 as physX card and titan to render the szene. In forceware selected physX-GPU can't be overclocked.. is that new?

years ago I tried physX once and it was possible to overclock any ppu.. I tried GT240, GTX460 and GTX560Ti..

GTX690 leaves @915MHz coreclock..

I'm not sure because I've never ran a dedicated PhysX card. How about this- can you use a program like MSI Afterburner to do it? I know if you go to settings and uncheck "Synchronize settings for similar graphics processors" it will let you adjust the cards you have in your system individually. So perhaps using this method you can just select the 690 (or maybe it shows up as 2 different GPUs since it's a dual GPU card) and overclock it accordingly.
