system configuration for blender 2.65

HI friend,

I am a beginner in blender.

I want to make a HD quality 10 min short animated movie using blender 2.65 which i have to present at my school.

My PC specs are

• OS: Windows 7 64 Bit

• CPU: 3rd Gen Intel® Core i7- (2.4GHz, 6M Cache)

• RAM: 8GB (2X8GB) 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM

• GFX Card: NVIDIA® Quadro® K1000M with 2GB GDDR3

Is this a good configuration to make a movie or i need to upgrade this configuration.

please tell me which is best graphic card for batter rendring in blender 2.65.
