pterodactilo Posted January 5, 2013 Share Posted January 5, 2013 Both cards use the same chip known as Cape Verde , also present in 7770M/7850M/7870M but M4000 must have some units disabled because number of shaders is 512 instad of 640 in M6000. I wonder if it's feasible to enable somehow the extra compute units in M4000 that must lie somewhere inside the chip. For example by flashing it with the M6000 bios. I guess that it's crazy and utterly impossible. Also memory size is different , 1gb vs 2gb. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
