eivan Posted January 3, 2013 Share Posted January 3, 2013 Hi,I have a problem with an external USB 3.0 hard drive.It is a Western Digital disk My Passport Essential USB 3.0 1TB.When I connect it directly to a USB 3.0 port, the drive disconnects / reconnects loop, I can not use it.But when I connect the USB 3.0 cable to a extension cable USB 2.0 connected to the USB 3.0 port, everything works fine.I do not have this problem with my other hard drive Western Digital My Passport USB 3.0 2TB.Both discs have the latest firmware.Do you know what could be the problem?Best regards.eivan.
