  1. there is a known problem with WD USB 3.0 drives and our laptops read USB 3.0 hard drives keep ejecting - Alienware Forum - Alienware Club - Dell Community and Alienware m17x-R4 USB 3.0 Problems With WD Externa... - Western Digital Community for more information
  2. i added a second HD to my system .. i just ordered mine with one HD .. my system came with the necessary stuff for the second HD .. if it hasnt come i dont think its much of a problem as people have reported just asking DELL for a caddy and they ship it out directly to u without any charge
  3. i dont think they changed much in the 1.04 version apart from the options to hide the HUD elements ... i go by if its not broken dont fix it and i never had any problems with the HUD so i never updated to 1.04 ... 1.03 is working fine with me .. wat i think is its the problem with the 3D .. cause thats the only thing different b/w me and u .. so try that out cheers and have a happy new year
  4. 1866Mhz Memory wont make much of a difference as the theoritically supported limit with the current gen mobile processors is 1600Mhz ... so effectively putting in ram at 1866 will just make it run at 1600Mhz ... or u could force the RAM to run at 1600Mhz so that u can get tighter timings on the RAM ARK | Intel® Core
  5. i have the 310.64 drivers and the game on 1.03 .. and i dont have any issues as such ... try downgrading to these and try .. maybe they broke something in the update .. also try running the game as admin .. that usually sorts out stuff for me .. if all else fails maybe its a bug in the 3D rendering ... disable 3D and see if it helps u out
