Suitercrew
Hey guys I'm still pretty new to all tgis stuff so bare with me. I know that newer cards are better "optimized" but what does that actually mean? For example an r9 290x vs a r9 390x, they have the same core gpu with very slightly different tweaks on userbenchmark.com the 390x is only 3% faster, but then when it gets to the fps rankings it obliterates the 290x being on average 20% higher fps scores? If the majority of this gain is just from poor driver support couldnt someone just make a custom driver for the 290x mimicking the 390x driver?? Thanks for the knowledge guys, I'm not sure why but all this stuff is really intriguing to me and I want to learn more.

Computer architecture of my I7-8700k @ stock speed of 3.7 GHz makes it light years better than my OC FX-8350 @ 4.8 GHz.
