Hello Clem,

 

I am recently in trouble upgrading the Wireless Card in Lenovo G780 to a Broadcom BCM943142HM. As outlined I used the Bios Backup Tool 2.0 to genereate the ROM file and deposited it at: https://file.io/gkNVZ6fZDKa5 . The link will expire on 3rd February. It would be great if you see a chance to remove the Whitelist limitation in that.

YES !! It worked!! With having the Whitelist removed and finding the right driver for the Broacom Network Card, Bluetooth is now up running!

Hi!

You can post here your bios backup (bios dump). To create bios backup use attached utility. Extract attached archive directly on the Desktop and run utility as Administrator (right click mouse, choice "Run as Administrator"). Utility will create archive "results" directly on the Desktop. Post here this archive "results", or upload it into any fileserver and post the link.

Well... I updated BIOS to 9.01 and for some reason backup tool giving me BSOD. So i am stuck now....

 

I managed to get it with Universal BIOS backup toolkit, hopefully this will work for you.
