Y510P whitelist mod + Broadcom BCM94352HMB

If first tried installing a broadom BCM94352 without the withlist bios mod, but was stuck on the lenovo logo loading screen.

I then unlocked my bios with the wlan whitelist mod / vbios mod, the update went without any problems.

Installed the broadcom bcm94352hmb again.

Now when I boot the Y510P still gets stuck on the Lenovo logo boot screen.

When I go to the bios and disable "wlan device" the laptop boots without problem.

I thought I received a defective Broadcom unit and asked for a replacement, but the problem remains with the replacement unit :(

I tried booting with "wlan device" disabled, and installing the Broadcom drivers using an ethernet cable then rebooting with "wlan device" enabled, but still get stuck on the lenovo logo boot.

Any idea's ?

edit: forgot to mention...windows 10...

  • Bios Modder

Hi!

If you want, i can check your bios. Send me the file backup of your bios via PM.  For creating backup of bios use attached program. Unzip attached archive directly on the Desktop and run the program as administrator (right click mouse). Program will create archive "results" directly on the Desktop. Send me this archive "results" via PM.
