1. So my laptop (latitude e6430) has an expresscard, so I wanted to get a eGPU for it. I did some research, and already got the adapter, but theres one thing I need. I need to know what is my TOLUD and what GPU should I buy for it, respectively. Here I attach a screenshot of my device manager and my laptop's specs so that someone may help me. If I got this right, my tolud should be 3.5Gb. Is this true, and if so, what GPU should I buy? Processor: i7-3520M RAM: 8GB note: sorry that the screenshot is in spanish, but I dont think that should matter
2. Hi, I'm new at this forum, and after read some threads I think I discovered my Tolud is 3.0gb, can someone confirm to me? Thank you, bernardo.
3. Please, can anyone tell me my Tolud. I can't get it, I have read all the guides but my table is quite diferent from the ones I saw. This my table with the internal card disabled by BIOS. I suppose it appears greyed out because the drivers are still there.
4. Im aware that in order for your PC to be compatible with an eGPU you need a TOLUD that is 3.25 or lower. I think that my TOLUD is currently 2.5 (i would appreciate if someone could confirm this), but I plan to switch out my current 4GB of RAM with 8GB (2 x 4GB) of corsair vengeance SODIMM, so my question is will this change of RAM also change my TOLUD, and if so, by how much? Thanks in advance
5. i´m new on this themme of eGPU but i transformed my laptop on a desktop but i want to add a eGPU. someone can help me with my tolud? and if is posible recommend a graphic card. thanks
6. Hello fellow forumers, sorry to bother you, but what is the TOLUD value for the selected port? The number says B0500000, and I can't tell for sure if it means 3.5GB or much higher/lower because of the 5 inside it.
7. Hello fellow Lenovo owners, I've started at tech thread over at the Lenovo forums, to ask them for a bios update to solve the TOLUD problem. Atm. i'm running the latest bios (2.59), and unfortunately my PCI bus memory adress says: DFA00000 - > TOLUD 3,5 GB = no room for eGPU with 4GB+ RAM. I've tried to override DSDT aswell (Windows 7, 64 bit), but it all turns out to BSOD's at boot. I've stumbled across another thread on lenovo forums, which gained the right attention for the Lenovo staff to update the bios's on the X230 and T230 models: http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/X-Series-ThinkPad-Laptops/X230-expresscard-adressing-eGPU/td-p/792909 Therefore I hope it will be possible, for the T430/T530/W530 owners to receive the same solution. But for that I need the Lenovo staffs attention, ad therefore, your help. head over to my thread at: T430 expresscard adressing (eGPU) - Lenovo Community and leave a comment, if you would like to see a solution in the future. Hopefully in the end, it will be something the bios tech guys pay attention to, in the future bios designs. Thanks in advance - Aatind (Denmark)
