Hello everyone, I currently use my laptop for school/work and I know I could have gotten a better one but I didn't pay for it was given to me from my job. I recently purchased an HP omen accelerator and put a MSI 1050 ti in it. Knowing this set up wasn't going to work. My laptop is a i7 HP ENVY x360 Convertible-15m-bp0xx, it doesn't have any thunderbolt ports, it has a USB Type-C port with HP Sleep and Charge. I provided the picture, look at my ignorance. Please help. Is there another way around this, I feel like intel could have came up with a substitute by now.

Laptop Model: HP Envy 4900MQ Laptop Specs: Intel Core i7-4900MQ @ 2.8GHz, 16GB RAM, Nvidia 740M + Intel Integrated Graphics 4600 3.8.0 Like everyone else here, I am solely wondering if my laptop can support an eGPU. I have purchased a PNY GTX 770 as part of a new desktop build, but why go through all the trouble (and not to mention, price) of building a brand new desktop if I can get the same quality graphics using my desktop GPU with my Laptop? There is no ExpressCard slot on my laptop, so I am wondering if there are any bypasses (i.e if I can use an mPCI-e slot and how to get to it). I couldn't find any reports on my laptop model so I take it I'm the first one to attempt to use this idea. Thanks in advance.
