  1. Laptop Model: HP Envy 4900MQ Laptop Specs: Intel Core i7-4900MQ @ 2.8GHz, 16GB RAM, Nvidia 740M + Intel Integrated Graphics 4600 3.8.0 Like everyone else here, I am solely wondering if my laptop can support an eGPU. I have purchased a PNY GTX 770 as part of a new desktop build, but why go through all the trouble (and not to mention, price) of building a brand new desktop if I can get the same quality graphics using my desktop GPU with my Laptop? There is no ExpressCard slot on my laptop, so I am wondering if there are any bypasses (i.e if I can use an mPCI-e slot and how to get to it). I couldn't find any reports on my laptop model so I take it I'm the first one to attempt to use this idea. Thanks in advance.
