  1. I saw the pictures of your new memory, and confidently say - it's a fake!

In memory stick from Samsung never use Hynix chips! All markings on chips made a very rude and not correct.

Samsung RAM title M471B5273DH0-CH9 should have 16 chips (8 on each side)! You bought a fake! This is the whole problem.

  2. I have a 660m. With the modded BIOS i have 1000mhz default.. 1200mhz hasn't been a problem so far, Never went over 60C

How much you can overclock now without any artifacts?

    Hello svl7,

Hope you had a good day. would you mind if you can unlock my g75VW bios version G75VWAS.223, Thanks for your kindness

    heres the bios link below:

    https://mega.co.nz/#!YdcTATKI!YF7eI3KCG3SoXx7Dqnce9xLN4M8tJKjQoFXsmaApSrA

Why you do not like the mod bios from first page of this thread?

  3. I have a mistake:

18 - Error: Unable to start a Secure Flash session.

What is wrong? (secure boot - off, UEFI mode)

Original 50X bios image flash successfully, unlocked bios image - no =(

Try to use the nice program prr2.exe for remove protection.

Also if you will need more help, you can ask me in Russian lang in PM.

  4. Bios - is main system BIOS of laptop. (in your case it is 204)

Video BIOS - is videobios for video card only.

Video BIOS in your G75VX is a part of main system BIOS.

In your main system BIOS ASUS place 2 variants of video BIOS. One for Legasy boot mode, and one for UEFI boot mode.

When you boot your laptop with this: "DISABLE Fast Boot, Enable Launch CSM, DIsable PXE Rom, then go to your SECURITY Tab and DISABLE Secure Boot" - it is Legasy boot mode.

When you boot without "DISABLE Fast Boot, Enable Launch CSM, DIsable PXE Rom, then go to your SECURITY Tab and DISABLE Secure Boot" your laptop start in UEFI mode.

80.04.60.00.0e is video BIOS(part from 204 main system BIOS) for UEFI boot.

80.04.60.00.10 is video BIOS(part from 204 main system BIOS) for Legasy boot.

  5. Maybe a stupid question, but better to ask before I do something even more stupid...

I see that a unlocked MSI GT780DX 30H bios available and my question is: Can I use the 30H bios even without raid? I now it says unlocked, but just to be sure! :)

Read carefully the first post, paragraph 5.

Just after the flashing immediately go into a BIOS setup menu and switch from the RAID to AHCI.

  6. 1. Make a backup of your original SYSTEM BIOS, using the following FTK (FPT) Software provided below: FTK: flash du BIOS et downgrade ASUS H61-H67-P67-Z68-B75-Z77-X79 - Carte mère - Hardware - FORUM HardWare.fr

Here is a link to the FPT Flashing software information and where to get the lastest version. Download the DOS Version. Its not in english but easy to understand, just click on the DOS version link.

    2. You have to create a bootable USB and place the FPT DOS files into the USB Drive, the link i provided above will show you how to do this and it provides link to download the software to create the bootable USB. To be able to boot into your USB Stick, you must go to your BOOT Tab in BIOS menu and DISABLE Fast Boot, Enable Launch CSM, DIsable PXE Rom, then go to your SECURITY Tab and DISABLE Secure Boot. Save changes in BIOS and restart.

    Or

    - Enter the BIOS setup menu by pressing and holding F2 key when powering on.

    - Switch to "Boot" and set “Launch CSM” to Enabled.

    - Switch to "Security" and set "Secure Boot Control" to Disabled.

    - Press F10 to save and exit.

    - Press and hold ESC key to lunch boot menu when the notebook restarts.

    3. To backup your old bios, after you have created the bootable USB Drive with FPT DOS files in it, you restart your laptop and boot from the USB Stick, then type in this command to make a backup of your original BIOS:

    fpt -d backup.rom -BIOS

If you don't specify key -BIOS, it will fail to backup.

On a USB flash drive should have a new file backup.rom.

  7. I have the latest version of BIOS, 223, those options were removed from the latest version of BIOS and you have them only on models with win8 pre-installed, they said that if your model had win7 pre-installed those options won't be available but my model came with Free DOS. Not I have WIndows 8.1 and I can't get rid of that watermark because SecureBoot is not enabled and I can't enabled it because there is no option to enable it :22_002:

    And a screenshot of GPU-Z

    --edit--

If there is anyone with G75VW with GTX670M 3GB VRAM and have the BIOS options I posted above please create a backup of the bios and pm me or post it here.

    Thank you.

  8. just bumping my question, I really want to overclock now BF4 beta is out :D

Describe in detail exactly how and what you're doing.

    - - - Updated - - -

Flashed successfully but no extra options :|

    --edit--

Tried again and again but no changes, same bios. Help please!

    --edit--

It worked, I had to shut down, I removed the battery then I held the power button pressed for 30 seconds...

    My GPU isn't oc'ed at 715/1650, still 620/1500 :|

I'm disappointed, not all settings are unlocked, this is just for overclocking :(

    I really need these options

Fastboot ( under Boot Tab )

    CSM (under Boot Tab)

Secure Boot ( under Security Tab)

    --edit--

They say, np, you don't have to pay, 5 posts and you can download without paying. I posted, no one replied, then I became Elite for 1 month just to download this and guess what, 0 satisfaction, useless thread, my gpu still at default clock, those options specified above are still hidden... I know is somehow my fault because I lost my patience but my first post was on 5 October and was approved after 2 days, others were approved before me. What do I get for those $5? Nothing...

Options that you have indicated are placed in the stock BIOS from the ASUS web site. They should be the default. They were your early before flashing? Look in the program GPU-Z what is your version of the video BIOS? The last two digits of 19 or 1B?
